This exclusive 8-day, 7-night in-country photography workshop will take us to three stunning countries of Croatia, Montenegro, and Bosnia/Herzegovina - from September 8-15, 2024.
You'll enjoy private photography sessions and portfolio reviews, immerse yourself in local culture, authentic gastronomy, and a unique cooking class. We will travel along the breathtaking Dalmatian Coast and relax at some of the world's most beautiful islands and towns along the Adriatic. Join our intimate small group photo workshops in some of the world's most exciting destinations led by a world renowned travel photographer.

I will be taking only 6 participants for dedicated workshops and one-on-one daily photo reviews on location.
Unique experiences
From oyster farming, sea-to-table gastronomy, and a traditional cooking class, we'll provide some amazing private experiences for photography.
Cultural immersion
We will spend time learning about the three different countries, traditions, lots of landscape photography, and of course, some time to relax and unwind.
Here is the high level itinerary of our time together to give you a taste - Our first two mornings will include in-person photography lectures and subsequent days will include daily photo reviews, critiques, and workshops. A detailed itinerary will be provided once you've secured your spot!
Day 1 - Arrive in Dubrovnik
Meet your guide and driver at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Meet your fellow travelers over a wonderful lunch.
In the afternoon we will take you to Old Town where you will have a private guided walking tour of Dubrovnik Old Town and city walls.

Day 2 - Dubrovnik / Island cruise
Today, you will be enjoying the cruise towards the Elaphiti islands, a breathtaking archipelago of thirteen lovely islands. Blessed with lush woodland and white, rocky outcrops which contrast with the greenish-blue Adriatic Sea, Elaphiti will offer us plenty of photography opportunities.

Day 3 - Dubrovnik / Ston
This morning after breakfast, we will go to the beautiful Pelješac peninsula, with stops at wineries of Pelješac and oyster farm experience. (B/L/D)
Day 4 - Mostar
This morning we will visit Mostar in neighboring Bosnia and Herzegovina. Just a short drive up the Adriatic coast and then inwards following the breathtaking Neretva Valley, Mostar is a memorable place to visit during our experience.

Day 5- Konavle / Montenegro
Morning transfer to beautiful Konavle Valley, a region renowned for having preserved rural architecture and traditions that are hundreds of years old. We will visit a family-owned farm and restaurant in the Konavle hills, where you will take part in a cooking class followed by lunch.
We will then continue our ride to Montenegro with stops along the way for landscape photography. (B/L/D)
Day 6 - Montenegro
From its upmarket seaside resorts to unparalleled natural beauties, Montenegro is Europe’s best kept secret. Tucked between the Balkans and the Adriatic Sea, this tiny country is home to a dramatic coastline, snow-capped mountains and pristine beaches.

Day 7 - Montenegro / Dubrovnik
Today you will savor the views of Boka Kotorska bay as we drive along the coast. We will stop at Kotor, UNESCO protected Old Town which was built between the 12th and 14th century. Then we will continue our ride to beautiful baroque town of Perast, often called the quietest town in Boka. Afterwards we will continue our ride to Dubrovnik where we will have our farewell dinner.

Award-winning author and travel photographer Lola Akinmade has dispatched from 80+ countries for various publications.
She is a Hasselblad Heroine and Bill Muster Travel Photographer of the Year.
Her work has appeared in National Geographic, BBC, CNN, The Guardian, Travel + Leisure, New York Times, Travel Channel, Adventure.com, The Sunday Times, AFAR, Lonely Planet, Fodor’s, amongst others. She has collaborated with high profile commercial brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Dove, Intrepid Travel, and Electrolux.
She was featured in a vignette called “Through The Lens” which aired on National Geographic Channels across the globe.

- If you're a professional photographer and would like to experience photographing the Northern Lights with us, you're also welcome.

Deposits and Payments: A deposit of 30% per person is required to secure reservation.
If cancelled 90+ days before the experience, the deposit will be fully refunded. No reservation is considered confirmed until a deposit is received.
Full payment must be received no later than July 1, 2024.
Payments are accepted by all major credit cards.
Life happens and sometimes cancellations occur. Here is our cancellation policy for this experience:
- 90+ days prior to departure: Full refund.
- 35+ days prior to departure: 50% of total trip cost will be refunded
- Within 35 days prior to arrival: No refund
- Once we have started to provide our service from the point of your arrival in Swedish Lapland, no refunds will be made for unused trip arrangements for any reason.
- Refunds will not be made for no-shows, early departures, or unused services.
